FTC verdonnert Amazon zu 30 Millionen Dollar Strafe.

Das wirft die US-Handelsaufsicht FTC der Alexa-Sparte von Amazon vor. Ein Verstoß gegen den Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Macht 25 Millionen Dollar Strafe. Parallel dazu kassiert die Amazon-Tochter Ring 5,8 Millionen Dollar Strafe, weil Mitarbeitende jahrelang nach Belieben auf private Überwachungsvideos von Kund.innen zugreifen konnten. Macht zusammen gut 30 Millionen Dollar. Für einen Konzern mit Milliardengewinnen ein Trinkgeld. Schuldeingeständnis? Fehlanzeige.
