Amazon-Zusteller.innen verlieren ihren Job per Algorithmus.

Bei Amazon Flex liefern private Fahrer.innen Pakete aus, gesteuert komplett über eine App. Kontrolliert wird die pünktliche Zustellung von einer Software – und die kennt kein Pardon. Ein Fahrer wurde entlassen, weil er nicht rechtzeitig in einen verschlossenen Apartmentkomplex kam. Eine andere verlor den Job wegen eines Nagels im Reifen. Der Grund fürs Vertrauen in Algorithmen? Laut Bloomberg-Insidern glaubt CEO Jeff Bezos, sie träfen bessere Entscheidungen als Menschen. Nur konsequent: Wer Widerspruch gegen schlechte Bewertungen durch die App einlegen will, weiß oft nicht einmal, ob am anderen Ende ein Mensch oder eine weitere Maschine antwortet.
